Our original rankings reference book, this fourteenth edition of State Rankings compares states in several areas.  Agriculture, crime, defense, government finance, health, economy, education, energy, environment, geography, housing, population, social welfare and transportation are examined state-by-state in this huge collection of user-friendly statistics. In all, there are 569 tables of state comparisons.
